Have you ever wondered about the life of the Pope?  Wasn't it and is it not still amazing.  What a dude!  So many people loved this man, including myself.  They (some Catholics and a lot of non-Catholics) may not have agreed with his words, which is the teaching of the Catholic Church, but they could not help but admire him.

On every channel... on a whack load of websites... on the radio... on every front page paper, the Pope was hailed as a hero.  There's no doubt about that.  They magnify the great life he led and the example he modelled, which was well deserved, BUT (bad grammar) they failed to mention the fact that he modelled his life after Jesus.  The Pope's life is a mere reflection of the great life Jesus led, from virtually unknown, to a fearless public ministry, to a joyous "passion-like" end in life, to unforgettable legacy.  There was no doubt that Pope John Paul II loved our God, and lived a holy life modelled after Jesus' life.

Ponder this... because his life was a mere reflection of Jesus', how much more amazing was Jesus.  The Pope was charismatic, loving, friendly, ingenious, bold, fearless, etc.  Imagine how much more Jesus was.  When on this earth, he must been amazing.  Considering he is the only figure in history to be remembered with such passion and zeal by billions and billions, he was guaranteed AWESOME!!!

Anyways, I just praise God for allowing me to live alongside great saints, like the Pope.  Praise God and peace out.  God bless y'all.

God Rocks baby!  YFC Campus-based Edmonton... Now @ University of Alberta.

It's been a while since I entered anything.  Might as well make it something good.  Here's some quotes.  Enjoy.

Our Lord gives to souls of prayer a deep understanding of Himself. He never deceives them.

 -- St. Peter Julian Eymard

When women begin to dress immodestly, and men to make fun of religion, it is the beginning of the end.

 -- Seneca

Our own evil inclinations are far more dangerous than any external enemies.
